Job Title: Training Specialist for Documentum (D2) Implementation
Location: Houston TX Office (Primary); Some travel required to Cameron Louisiana and Corpus Christi Texas Travel Paid
Duration: 6 months
Client : Cheniere Energy.
Position Overview: The training resource will be responsible for developing organizing and delivering comprehensive system training for end users impacted by the Documentum (D2) implementation. This role requires a deep understanding of the system excellent communication skills and the ability to create engaging materials that facilitate learning and adoption. Experience training on systems designed for Engineering Construction or Operations preferred.
Responsibilities and Essential Duties:
- Training Development
- Using Adult Learning Theory develop detailed training plans instructor guides curriculums and schedules tailored to impacted user groups
- Create engaging and informative training materials including manuals quick reference guides computerbased training modules and video tutorials
- Training Delivery
- Conduct training sessions in various formats (inperson virtual small group and large group)
- Provide handson training and support to ensure users can effectively use the new functionality
- Recommend continuous learning programs to encourage reinforcement
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with IT project team and business stakeholders to understand training needs and requirements
- Documentation & Reporting
- Utilize internal learning management system to maintain up to date training documentation attendance and classroom schedule.
- Track and report metrics based on training progress attendance and feedback
- Identify and document training issues and resolutions
Knowledge and Skills
- Excellent presentation communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge of IT systems Documentum D2 or other ECM experience preferred
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts in easy to understand language
- Proficiency in creating training materials using various tools (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite elearning authoring software video editing tools etc.)
Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Education Business Process Engineering Mechanical Engineering or related field or work experience.
- Minimum of 12 years of IT and 5 years experience in IT training system implementation or related role
- Proven experience in developing and delivering training programs for IT systems
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
