Job Description

Activity Instructor

The Activity Instructor will be responsible for planning, organizing, and leading a variety of recreational activities and programs for guests of all ages at Hawar Resort. This role requires a passion for outdoor activities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage and entertain guests, ensuring they have a memorable and enjoyable stay.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct recreational activities, including but not limited to water sports, nature walks, team-building exercises, fitness classes, and arts and crafts.
• Ensure the safety of all participants by providing thorough instructions, monitoring activities, and adhering to safety protocols.
• Engage with guests to understand their interests and tailor activities to meet their needs and preferences.
• Maintain and manage activity equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition and available for guest use.
• Promote activities through various communication channels within the resort to maximize guest participation.
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with other resort staff to coordinate special events and themed activities.
• Assist in the development and improvement of activity programs based on guest feedback and industry trends.
• Maintain accurate records of participation, incidents, and inventory.
  

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality or recreation industry is preferred.
• Certification in CPR, First Aid, and water safety (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Energetic, outgoing, and approachable personality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as required.
• Knowledge of a variety of recreational activities and the ability to instruct and lead groups.
• Physical fitness and the ability to engage in strenuous activities.
• Multilingual skills are a plus.
