About Us Our Clients Sales Representatives serve on the front line between our business and our customers and are a key component of our success. Our Sales Representatives are tasked with building personal relationships with our customers to help them identify agronomic solutions and offer our highquality products to help them enhance performance increase productivity and maximize their return on investment. Our salesforce also seeks out new business to help us grow and expand into new markets ensuring the company continues to remain a leader as one of the nation's foremost agronomy solutions providers. Candidates must live in or be willing to relocate to Maple Park Illinois region of the state Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement: Call on regular or prospective customers to drive new business. This will require driving.
Product Demonstration: Demonstrate products and provide essential information including product availability pricing new developments and market trends.
Customer Support: Answer questions concerning products such as price credit terms and durability.
Sales Documentation: Complete sales contracts and forms to record required sales information and collect receivables in a timely manner.
Promotion: Promote products at trade shows and conferences.
Expertise Maintenance: Maintain a high level of technical expertise and strive to achieve the market's sales goals.
Credit Policy Compliance: Demonstrate working knowledge of the company's credit policy regulating credit sales.
Vehicle Operation: May be required to drive a company vehicle as needed.
Additional Duties: Perform other workrelated duties as assigned by the leader.
Attendance: Maintain reliable and regular attendance.
Education and Experience
Minimum Requirement: High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
Experience: One to two years of related experience required. Sales experience especially in agriculture sales is highly preferred. Recent college graduates with intern experience will also be considered.
License: Valid U.S. driver's license is required.
Skills for Success
Communication: Excellent communication skills.
Certifications: Certified Crop Advisor License is preferred.
Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of fertilizer formulation and agricultural precision information technology is preferred.
Travel: Ability to travel up to 25% by various means is required.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements Safety is their highest priority. They implement extensive safety measures to minimize exposure to potentially harmful elements.
Environment: This position may require working in an outdoor setting in all weather conditions with exposure to outdoor elements.
Exposure: Possible exposure to fumes airborne particles chemical and biological hazards vibrations and a risk of electrical shock.
Physical Activity: Use of hands for various tasks talking hearing walking standing and sitting. Occasionally required to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
