VACANCY FOR GENERATOR OPERATOR IN VICTORIA ISLAND LAGOS

Requirements

1. Operate Generators: Start stop and monitor generators to ensure a continuous and reliable power supply.
   
2. Routine Maintenance: Perform regular inspections maintenance and servicing of generators according to the manufacturers guidelines.
   
3. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve any issues or malfunctions in generator systems promptly to minimize downtime.
   
4. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of generator operating parameters maintenance activities and any repairs performed.
   
5. Emergency Response: Respond quickly and effectively to any power outages or emergency situations taking appropriate actions to restore power promptly.
   
6. Collaboration: Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams to schedule and execute preventive maintenance and repairs.
   
7. Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety standards environmental regulations and company policies during all generator operations.
   
8. Training: Provide training to other staff members on generator operation and safety protocols.
   

1. Education: High school diploma National Diploma (ND) or equivalent.
   
2. Experience: Minimum of 1 3 years of experience as a Generator Operator or in a related field.
   
3. Technical Skills: Proficient in the operation maintenance and troubleshooting of generators.
   
4. Safety Conscious: Strong commitment to safety protocols and the ability to follow established safety procedures.
   
5. Problem Solving: Excellent problemsolving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues quickly.
   
6. Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills.
   
7. Team Player: Capable of working collaboratively with other team members and departments.
   
8. Availability: Willingness to work on a flexible schedule including evenings weekends and holidays as needed.
