Job Description
Scrum Master
We are seeking 8 experienced Scrum Masters to join our clients government institution remotely. The ideal candidates will lead and mentor crossfunctional teams facilitating key agile ceremonies and coaching team members in agile methodologies. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to public sector projects and drive digital service delivery.
What is in it for you:
Hourly salary of $91.68 to $105.78 based on experience.
12month contract with a maximum extension term of 24 months.
Fulltime position: 36.25 hours per week.

Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor crossfunctional teams in agile principles policies and procedures.
Facilitate key agile ceremonies: planning sessions standups sprint reviews product demos retrospectives and refinement sessions.
Coach the team on agile methodology applications including effective estimation sprint commitments adjusting for external dependencies and eliminating blocking issues.
Act as an intermediary between company product owners and the team to promote successful sprint goals and commitments.
Guide company product owners on reporting release planning and roadmapping.
Maintain and report on delivery metrics using project management tools and artifacts such as sprint burndown/velocity charts product backlogs and sprint backlogs.
Participate in digital service delivery activities such as user research and usability testing.
Manage communication maximize transparency disseminate information related to service delivery and resolve conflicts when they arise.
What you will need to succeed:
Active professional Scrum Master certification.
Knowledge of various software development methodologies (e.g. agile waterfall scrum).
2 years of experience delivering training sessions via webbased technology (e.g. Microsoft Teams).
2 years of experience leading and facilitating key agile ceremonies.
2 years of experience leading and mentoring teams in agile principles policies and procedures.
2 years of experience planning work aligned with product owner priorities.
2 years of experience with agile methodology.
5 years of experience with software development processes and best practices.
2 years of experience with agile software development and modern service designbased processes.
5 years of directly related experience in web service or development.
5 years of experience developing and maintaining positive stakeholder relationships.
2 years of experience working in or for the public sector.
1 year of experience working with teams that apply UX design service design and design thinking.
