Data Engineer SQL Developer

Responsibilities:

• SQL Development:
  
  • Develop highquality SQL code within prescribed company technologies and environments.
    
  • Implement sound technical solutions based on defined requirements.
    
  • Write quality code and unit tests adhering to coding best practices and methodologies.
    
  • Correct system bugs and errors on existing systems.
    
• Collaboration and Requirements Gathering:
  
  • Work as a skilled contributing SQL developer within a crossfunctional agile development team.
    
  • Assist development and business analysis teams in determining requirements.
    
  • Liaise with business users and unit managers to gather and clarify requirements as needed.
    
• System Support and Maintenance:
  
  • Provide support and maintenance to existing systems and solutions.
    
  • Implement systems and solutions as required by the organization.
    
• Technical Leadership:
  
  • Demonstrate individual leadership and a progressive attitude towards technology and career development.
    
  • Exercise technical consistency and pay close attention to detail.
    
  • Meet the high level of expertise and experience required for the role.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Education:
  • Degree Diploma or any ITrelated certification.
    
• Experience:
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in SQL coding Database Development and Microsoft Integration Analysis and Reporting Services.
    
  • Solid experience with Azure.
    
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in SQL Server 2016.
    
  • Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
    
  • Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
    
  • Experience with SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).
    
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps and CICD.
    
  • Experience with Power BI Semantic Models and Reports.
    
  • Beneficial experience with Synapse Fabric Logic Apps and PowerApps.
    
  • Understanding of and experience with SDLC processes.
