Position: Dyanatrace / Systems Engineer

Job Description:
The Dynatrace Observability Engineer/Architect is talented and passionate about Observability and will be responsible for designing and implementing observability solutions that enable proactive and efficient monitoring alerting and troubleshooting of complex systems applications and critical business processes. The successful applicant will have significant experience with Observability Dynatrace SaaS APM DQL logs on Grail and dashboarding of Critical Business Processes (preferably with Dynatrace Business Events). Essential Functions:
Decomposing business processes into observability requirements Develop dashboards for critical business processes leveraging Dynatrace dashboards and/or Dynatrace Business Events on SaaS Define and implement the observability strategy and roadmap aligned with the business objectives and the IT architecture vision. Design and develop observability solutions using industry best practices and standards Provide technical leadership and guidance to the performance monitoring engineers ensuring the quality and consistency of the observability solutions. This is while executing handson and having responsibility for delivery. Collaborate with the business partners and IT stakeholders such as application owners developers operations security and governance teams to understand their observability needs and requirements and provide them with the appropriate solutions and tools. Evaluate and recommend new and emerging observability technologies and tools and conduct proof of concepts and pilots to assess their feasibility and value. Establish and enforce observability standards policies and best practices across the enterprise and ensure compliance with the regulatory and security requirements. Provide observability training coaching and mentoring to the IT staff and promote the observability culture and mindset across the organization Analyze and report on the observability metrics and KPIs and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization. Qualifications Required:
Education: Bachelors Degree (Information Technology or Computer Science) 10 years proven success overseeing the design development and implementation of software systems and applications. Required 5 years of experience in observability monitoring or related domains. Deep expertise and handson experience in observability and monitoring technologies and tools such as Dynatrace Splunk and SolarWinds 3 years experience leveraging Dynatrace SaaS DQL and Logs on Grail Strong knowledge and experience in cloudbased architecture especially Azure. Azure Solutions Architect certification. Expert in developing monitoring dashboards Experienced at developing Dynatrace dashboards for business processes preferably leveraging Dynatrace Business Events Experience in designing and implementing observability solutions for complex distributed systems and applications. Must have strong automation/scripting skills Expertise in enterprise architecture and familiarity with key design patterns and paradigms. Experience in working with DevOps CI/CD and agile methodologies. Excellent communication collaboration and problemsolving skills.
