Our client a leading building contractor is seeking to appoint and Office Administrator/Manager to assist in the general day today of office management.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain the branchs filing systems for efficient document storage and retrieval.
Accurately record and manage all office expenditures.
Record manage and archive project contract documents ensuring compliance with company standards.
Maintain internal and external audit standards including safety and best practices.
Organize and manage external services such as:
Cleaning
Window cleaning
Recycling
Waste management
Boiler and air conditioning services
Photocopiers
Alarm systems
Answer and handle telephone calls to the branch dealing with enquiries or directing calls promptly and courteously.
Provide cover for the Office Administrator and Contracts Controller during holidays.
Manage the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) requirements and ensure compliance.
Assist in managing and chasing tender submittals.
Record and report weekly branch deliverables.
Ensure compliance with Section 106 requirements.
Perform any other relevant duties as required.
Knowledge Qualifications and Experience:
Proficiency in using a range of office software including email Microsoft Office spreadsheets internal systems and databases.
Strong adaptability flexibility business awareness attention to detail initiative planning and organizing skills.
General computer literacy.
Experience with various aspects of administration as mentioned above.
