Role
The Manager, Human Resources at DSV, you will play a critical role in shaping the company's human resources strategy, managing HR operations, and fostering a culture of employee engagement and development. This leadership position requires a deep understanding of HR best practices and the ability to align HR initiatives with business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Operate as part of the leadership team to provide insightful recommendations and engage in strategic business planning & collaboration to translate business needs into HR plans.
- Implement Human Resources strategies/plans and elish department accountability within the areas of talent management, acquisition, service excellence, compensation, safety, health & welfare, government relations, as well as employee relations and retention.
- Act as key advisor to other leaders on a broad range of issues related to employee relations, country laws, employee development and workplace culture and productivity, change management, and building new organizational structures, among others.
- Be a key contributor to short- and long-term goals, budget planning, company policies, succession planning and management manpower planning, rewards programs, ensuring internal equity and external competitiveness.
- Oversee the payroll department, including developing and meeting objectives and budget.
- Guide the activities of the department and ensures that company policies and procedures are equitably applied and that grievances are promptly handled in accordance with approved procedures.
- Ensure the development of compensation and benefits programs, policies, and approaches that meet the local needs of the company as it attracts, motivates, and retains its diverse workforce.
- Design, manage & implement talent management processes, policies, and systems to develop a robust talent pipeline in the organization.
- Develop programs, initiatives, and processes for implementation of existing and new processes in the areas of management review, talent review, and succession planning & mentoring.
- Develops solutions for specific organizational and business problems, aligns stakeholders to objectives/plans to implement those solutions.
- Conducts essments and uses data to provide consultation on organizational effectiveness interventions that will close gaps from current to desired future state.
- Develops effective change management strategies, frameworks, and project plans to ensure successful implementation.
- Manages critical projects and initiatives, applies change management principles, philosophies, and practices to deliver desired results.
- Creates actionable deliverables: communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, resistance management plan, monitor change readiness / progress at key project milestones.
Educational Qualifications & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, or a related field. Master's degree or HR certification preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations.
