Job Description
- Overseeing the day-to-day accounting functions; Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, General Ledger, Month and Year end close, and Audit preparation.
- Monitor preparation and disbursement of the company’s payroll ensuring that statutory deductions are made and remitted to the relevant authorities in time
- Supervise the management of local and foreign currency accounts
- Approve financial requests based on local threshold authorizations, and ume delegation of signature authority of the MENA Regional Deputy Director
- ume official point of contact with external financial institutions, such as local bank executives, compliance mangers, General Intelligence Department, Central Bank of Jordan, Income Tax and Social Security.
- Maintaining internal controls by ensuring the policies and procedures elished by CRDF’s functional leads are implemented in the hubs
- Working with the accounting and PFA functional leads to review existing processes and change/develop new processes to align with organizational changes.
- Supporting pricing activities for programs implemented from the hubs.
- Leading the annual planning process for the hubs (fringe, occupancy, and G&A budgets) and supporting the planning process for programs implemented from the MENA and SEA hubs
- Identifying resource and functional gaps within the hubs and working with the accounting and PFA functional leads to address them
- Communicating process and expectation changes from the functional leads to the accounting and in the hubs and ensuring the changes are implemented
- Leading the annual performance management and staff development process for all direct reports in the hubs
- Staffing accounting positions in the hub; hire, on-board, and develop accounting and PFA staff in the hubs
