Job Description

Our client is looking for an organised and detailoriented fulltime Assembly Technician / Production Operative to work on manufacturing industrial sensors to join our client.

After a period of sustained growth our client is now seeking to expand their manufacturing workforce.

Job Description

Fulltime position available in their production area manufacturing a complete range of temperature sensors which includes carrying out the following tasks:

  • Wire and cable preparation
  • Fine wire welding
  • Soldering
  • Potting with resins and sealants
  • Crimping
  • Heat shrinking
  • Mechanical assembly functions
  • Brazing/silver soldering
  • Inspection and test

They will provide all the tools and equipment that are required for you to complete your work. They have good quality machinery to perform some of the repetitive tasks.

They will provide any equipment required to ensure that your health and safety is not affected by carrying out your duties.

What are we looking for

  • You should ideally have some experience of electromechanical assembly perhaps working in a wire preparation or PCB environment.
  • Dexterity is key and you need to be able to work with small components and fine wires.
  • All our products are handmade to a high standard and therefore you must possess an excellent attention to detail.
  • We manufacture a wide variety of products; every day is different. You need to be able to understand work instructions and complete work to meet the requirements of our ISO9001 accreditation. Therefore we expect a good standard of English Language.
  • Enthusiasm and a positive attitude is essential in order to achieve productivity expectations.
  • Willingness to learn new tasks and skills.
  • You must be able to demonstrate your right to work in the UK.
