Comprehensive overview:

This position requires a technical individual who has a deep understanding of the release lifecycle and a background in technical systems analysis. The leadership has delegated release communication responsibilities from the release management leader to the product team with a focus on improving communication to streamline release cycles.

The ideal candidate will act as a UI Admin possessing the ability to discuss technical release management concepts effectively. By enhancing communication within the team they aim to minimize delays in release cycles.

The role involves working as a technical release manager and system analyst within a software development team particularly focusing on the Ordering Product team. The candidate should have technical expertise in Web APIs Jenkins Tableau and Cherwell. While coding skills are not mandatory the candidate should be able to interpret code and make informed decisions regarding build readiness.

Occasionally the role may require monitoring or reviewing system logs in lower environments. If builds are not ready the candidate may advise reverting to a Mock. Conversely if the build is prepared they will guide the team on when to proceed with the deployment.

The technical environment includes technologies such as Java Netflix Mongo Spring Boot and Console with a shift towards Containers Kubernetes and AWS. The team utilizes SharePoint and the Cherwell ticketing system to track code promotion across various environments.
