2. About the job

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Lead (QA Lead) with expertise in build integration automation telemetry performance and QA tools to join our team at The Coalition. As a QA Lead you will work closely with the QA Manager and Producers to ensure testing coverage and support needs are met. You will also coordinate with other QA Leads request resources when necessary and refine team processes. The QA Lead will be responsible for assessing testing health and quality attending lead level meetings and providing confidence in test coverage on projects/titles. In addition you will mentor and support Development Support and Test Coordinators as needed.

Role Summary: As a QA Lead you will be responsible for coordinating testing efforts ensuring quality standards are met and supporting the overall testing process for our projects. Your role is crucial in maintaining testing health and providing confidence in the quality of our titles.

4. What are the key responsibilities

Build integrations.

Testing and support for editor tools.

Development and support of QA tools and automation.

Collaborating with production partners to triage open feature requests and issues.

Providing qualitative feedback on proposed designs to meet quality standards.

Implementing necessary QA tools and automation solutions.

Working with the Data & Insights team for telemetry testing and validation.

Scoping and delivering requirements for QA Dashboarding needs.

Communicating performance and memory targets for testing.

Translating design and technical briefs into test plans.

Identifying and implementing automation needs with Quality Engineers.

Planning and executing performance tests on multiple PC configurations.

Managing and executing multiplayer tests.

Overseeing QA lab management equipment organization and station upkeep.

5. What experience are we looking for to drive success

MUSTHave Skills and Qualifications:

Experience modifying PC configurations for testing requirements.

Previous experience on a AAA multiplayer games development cycle (preproduction to postlaunch).

Leadership experience with technical tests.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

Experience in leadership and team coordination.

Adaptability in teaching skills to various types of learners including leadership teams.

Strong documentation and organizational skills.

Ability to translate design and feature briefs into robust test cases.

Excellent communication skills with QA and Production teams.

Intermediate to advanced knowledge of personal computers and operating systems.

Proficiency in scripting especially in Python.

Knowledge of automation systems.
