Senior Project Engineer

• Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases from initial development through implementation.
  
• Project Coordination: Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items such as milestones and deliverables.
  
• Risk Management: Communicate proactively with all involved personnel to provide encouragement identify problems create solutions and implement efficiency improvements
  
• Quality Control: Review the engineering tasks and initiate the necessary corrective actions to ensure the project quality
  
• Budgeting: Analyze the profitability revenue margins bill rates and utilization across projects.
  
• Client and Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients and other project stakeholders.
  
• Provide progress reports and address any concerns or issues raised by stakeholders.
  
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain project documentation including engineering drawings specifications and reports.
  
• Generate regular progress reports for management and clients.
  

• Ensure operations are carried out as per laydown procedures and standard safety methods are observed.
  
• Plan and monitor the daytoday running of business operations to ensure smooth progress and profitability
  
• Evaluate the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives regularly and apply improvements.
  
• Making sure safety regulations are followed.
  
• Keeping employees motivated and organizing appropriate training
  
• Ensure operating objectives and standards of performance are owned by management as well as employees
  

Requirements

• Shall possess a bachelor s degree in engineering (Mechanical/Electrical).
  
• Should possess 3 5 years of experience in Project Engineering in the Oil and Gas/Power Sector.
  
• Project Management Certified is compulsory.
  
• Certification in COREN is an added advantage.
  
• Certification HSE is an added advantage.
  

• Excellent use of MS Office suite including PowerPoint Excel and Word.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking.
  
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
  
• Excellent organizational skills.
  

• Proficient in either Microsoft Project Primavera or AutoCAD
  
• Project management.
  
• Technical understanding of engineering principles design techniques
