Technical Product Owner

Job Description:

Our client is seeking a dedicated Agile Technical Product Owner for a contract role in New York NY. In this position you will be instrumental in gathering business requirements and user feature requests prioritizing them and breaking down epics and features with development teams for product implementation. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organization to define scope create roadmaps and deliver highquality software products that align with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and prioritize business requirements and user feature requests.
• Break down epics and features with development teams for product implementation.
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to define scope and create detailed roadmaps and requirements.
• Author features and user stories to guide development efforts.
• Present analysis and interpretation for operational and business review and planning.
• Support both shortterm and longterm operational and strategic business activities through detailed analysis.
• Develop and implement recommended business solutions based on thorough research and analysis.
• Coordinate evaluation of epics with impacted teams to ensure features are written and aligned with team requirements.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience as a technical product owner.
• 3 years of experience with cloud solutions such as AWS Azure etc.
• 2 years of experience in SQL/PL SQL queries for data mining or data validation before release deployment.
• Strong understanding of Agile Methodology and other project management methodologies.
• Previous experience with Agile management tools such as Agile Central Jira VersionOne etc.
• SAFe Agile PM/PO CSM PSM or PSPO certification preferred.
