Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Class A CDL Company Truck Driver to join our team. This is a fulltime position with a competitive salary and benefits package. The driver will be responsible for transporting goods from our clients locations to various destinations across the country. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic a clean driving record and a commitment to delivering goods on time and safely.

Responsibilities:

Operate companyowned trucks to transport goods to and from designated locations

Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance

Plan routes and meet delivery schedules

Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts

Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size weight route designations parking break periods etc.) as well as with company policies and procedures

Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions

Collect and verify delivery instructions

Report defects accidents or violations

Maintain a positive working relationship with customers and coworkers

Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations

Requirements:

Valid Class A CDL license

Minimum of 6 months of truck driving experience

Clean driving record

Ability to pass a drug test and background check

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Strong work ethic and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed

Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed
