Job Description:
As an engineer you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing optimised metering and energy management systems for our clients.
You will be responsible for designing testing and commissioning metering systems as well as providing technical support and troubleshooting for existing systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop management solutions for various applications including residential commercial and industrial mainly around the use of water systems.
Conduct feasibility studies and costbenefit analysis to determine the most efficient and effective solutions for clients.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure seamless integration of metering systems with other components and systems.
Perform testing and validation of metering systems to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Provide technical support to clients and internal teams for troubleshooting and issue resolution.
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in metering and energy management technologies and provide recommendations for their incorporation into our solutions.
Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates on progress and any potential roadblocks.
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and quality standards.
Travel is expected between 25 50% during the course of work with appropriate reimbursements and benefits for work travel.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering/Software/Mechantronics or a related field.
Experience with metering software and protocols such as Modbus DNP3 and BACnet.
Familiarity with energy management systems and their integration with metering systems.
Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
