Job Description

Mammography Technologist RadiologyDiagnostic

Seattle Washington

FullTime (Outpatient Setting)

Relocation Candidates Accepted

As a Mammography technologist you will operate a mammography unit to produce images of the breasts for diagnostic purposes under the direction of a physician. You will explain the procedure to patients position and immobilize the patients breast in the unit and observe the scanning process.

Must Haves:

  • Successful completion of a formal radiologic technology training program which meets the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Washington Radiologic Technologist upon hire
  • National Provider BLS American Heart Association upon hire
  • National Registered Technologist Radiography American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • National Registered Technologist Mammography within 1 year of hire
  • Depending on location prior general radiography experience may be required

Preferred:

  • Two (2) years of fulltime mammography experience
