Equity Associate Analyst - Consumer Sector

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated Equity Associate Analyst to join our dynamic team focusing on the Consumer Sector. As an Equity Associate Analyst you will play a critical role in conducting thorough research analysis and evaluation of companies within the consumer industry. Your insights will directly contribute to investment decisions and recommendations made by our firm.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct indepth financial analysis of companies within the consumer sector including revenue trends profitability metrics and balance sheet assessment.
2. Evaluate market dynamics industry trends and competitive landscapes to identify investment opportunities and risks.
3. Perform comprehensive due diligence on potential investments including company visits management interviews and industry conferences.
4. Create detailed financial models and valuation frameworks to support investment theses and recommendations.
5. Collaborate with senior analysts and portfolio managers to develop investment strategies and asset allocation decisions.
6. Prepare written reports presentations and investment memoranda to communicate research findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders and clients.
7. Monitor portfolio holdings and industry developments providing timely updates and insights to support portfolio management decisions.
8. Stay abreast of regulatory changes macroeconomic trends and geopolitical events that may impact the consumer sector and investment markets.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Finance Economics Accounting or related field; CFA or progress towards CFA designation preferred.
• 13 years of experience in equity research investment banking or related fields with a focus on the consumer sector preferred.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas and findings clearly and concisely.
• Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
• Detailoriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality.
• Proficiency in financial databases and research tools such as Bloomberg FactSet or Capital IQ.
