Position Title: Oracle Testing Consultant

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Oracle Testing Consultant to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in testing Oracle applications with a strong background in various testing methodologies and tools. This role requires excellent analytical skills attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams to ensure the quality and performance of Oracle solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Test Planning and Strategy:

   • Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies for Oracle applications.
   • Define testing scope objectives and criteria for success.

2. Test Case Development:

   • Design and develop detailed test cases based on business requirements and functional specifications.
   • Ensure test cases cover functional integration system and regression testing.

3. Test Execution:

   • Execute test cases document results and track defects.
   • Perform manual and automated testing of Oracle applications.
   • Validate data integrity user interface functionality and system performance.

4. Defect Management:

   • Identify document and track defects using defect management tools.
   • Work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.
   • Retest resolved defects and update test cases accordingly.

5. Test Automation:

   • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using testing tools.
   • Implement and manage test automation frameworks.
   • Execute automated test suites and analyze results.

6. Performance Testing:

   • Conduct performance testing to evaluate system scalability and responsiveness.
   • Analyze performance test results and provide recommendations for improvement.

7. Documentation and Reporting:

   • Maintain comprehensive testing documentation including test plans test cases and defect reports.
   • Generate test summary reports and provide insights to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• Experience: 5 years of experience in testing Oracle applications.
• Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle applications and modules (e.g. ERP HCM SCM).
  • Proficiency in manual and automated testing methodologies.
  • Experience with testing tools (e.g. HP ALM Selenium Oracle Application Testing Suite).
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a remote team environment.
• Certifications: ISTQB or Oracle certification is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g. JMeter LoadRunner).
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous testing practices.
• Experience in testing cloudbased Oracle applications.
