Position Title: Junior SAP Test Analyst

Role Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated Junior SAP Test Analyst to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in SAP testing with a focus on ensuring the quality and functionality of SAP applications. This role requires a strong understanding of SAP modules excellent analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team to execute and manage test activities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Test Planning and Strategy:

   • Develop and execute test plans and strategies for SAP projects.
   • Collaborate with business analysts and developers to understand requirements and create detailed test cases.
   • Identify and prepare test data required for testing scenarios.

2. Test Execution:

   • Perform functional integration regression and user acceptance testing (UAT) on SAP applications.
   • Execute manual and automated test scripts to validate SAP system functionality.
   • Record and document test results reporting any defects or issues identified.

3. Defect Management:

   • Log track and manage defects in a defect management tool.
   • Work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution of defects.
   • Retest resolved defects and ensure they are closed appropriately.

4. Test Documentation:

   • Maintain comprehensive test documentation including test plans test cases test scripts and defect logs.
   • Ensure all test activities are documented and traceable to requirements.
   • Provide regular status reports on test activities and progress to stakeholders.

5. Continuous Improvement:

   • Participate in test process improvement initiatives to enhance the quality and efficiency of testing.
   • Stay updated with the latest SAP testing tools techniques and best practices.
   • Provide input on test automation strategies and frameworks.

6. Collaboration and Communication:

   • Work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams including developers business analysts and project managers.
   • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment on test objectives and outcomes.
   • Participate in team meetings providing insights and updates on testing activities.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Business Administration or a related field.
• Experience: 5 years of experience in SAP testing.
• Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of SAP modules (e.g. SD MM FI/CO HR) and SAP testing methodologies.
  • Proficiency in using test management and defect tracking tools (e.g. HP ALM JIRA TestRail).
  • Experience with automated testing tools (e.g. SAP TAO QTP UFT) is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a remote team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP certification in relevant modules is a plus.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori applications.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
