Position Title: Senior SAP ABAP Developer

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP ABAP Developer to join our team remotely in the USA. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in SAP ABAP development with a strong background in designing coding testing and implementing SAP applications. This role requires an indepth understanding of SAP modules and the ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams to deliver highquality SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. SAP ABAP Development:

   • Design develop and implement custom SAP ABAP programs to meet business requirements.
   • Create and maintain SAP scripts Smart Forms and Adobe Forms.
   • Develop and enhance reports interfaces conversions enhancements and forms (RICEFW).

2. System Integration:

   • Integrate SAP applications with other systems and thirdparty applications.
   • Work on SAP interfaces using IDocs BAPIs RFCs and Web Services.
   • Collaborate with functional teams to understand business processes and translate them into technical requirements.

3. Code Quality and Testing:

   • Perform unit testing and ensure the quality of code through peer reviews and code inspections.
   • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP ABAP programs and provide timely support.
   • Conduct performance tuning and optimization of ABAP programs to enhance system performance.

4. Documentation and Standards:

   • Develop and maintain technical documentation for all SAP ABAP developments.
   • Adhere to SAP best practices and coding standards.
   • Provide guidance and support to junior developers and conduct knowledgesharing sessions.

5. Project Collaboration:

   • Participate in project planning scoping and estimation activities.
   • Work closely with project managers functional consultants and business users to ensure successful project delivery.
   • Provide technical expertise and support during project implementations upgrades and migrations.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• Experience: 8 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Skills:
  • Proficiency in SAP ABAP programming including objectoriented programming (OOP).
  • Strong knowledge of SAP modules such as SD MM FI/CO and HR.
  • Experience with SAP enhancement techniques (user exits BADIs enhancement points).
  • Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA SAP Fiori and OData services is a plus.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a remote team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP ABAP certification is a plus.
• Experience with SAP Workflow and SAP UI5.
• Knowledge of SAP integration tools such as PI/PO and CPI.
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
