Position: Advisor Project/Program Management IT
- Managing the backlog development and delivery for an application including managing change requests
- Responsible for crossfunctional management of specific product(s) or solution(s) through their entire lifecycle. Uses technical and industry experience to formulate product/ solution strategies.
- Works across functional areas to implement product/ solution strategies.
- Works with Information Technology teams to ensure customer needs and requirements are represented.
- Develops and maintains the product roadmap. Subject Matter Expertise (SME) for internal product events.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Manages product roadmap
- Creates implements and monitors plans for testing products/ solutions
- Ensures that product/ solution features and specifications reflect customer requirements.
- Prioritizes features and specifications applying budget timeline and other constraints.
- Works across all functional areas gathering inputs updating product plans and roadmaps and communicating the impact of product/ solution decisions to all stakeholders.
- Manages work of assigned developers and testers to deliver product functionality per pla
- Creates CRQs as required for all products in this feature team
- To drive innovation in product development at Client we need forward thinking people on our IT Product Management team.
- As part of this team we devise product and solution strategies and product roadmaps and deliver quality enhancements to our stakeholders.
What youll achieve
- As an IT Product Management Advisor you will be driving all aspects of IT Project Program and Portfolio activity including collaborating and coordinating across all IT and business segments.
- You will work with internal customers (i.e. Product Managers Project Managers and Business Advisors etc.) to completeproject/program on time and within budget.
- You will:
- Provide analysis in support of new product offerings including features cost and driving peripheral requirements for the product platforms
- Support requirements gathering and provide management support
- Ensure consistency and adherence to client standards processes and policies for all projects
Essential Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of experience in a professional role
- Solid understanding of technology elating to design testing and quality
- Strong understanding of business goals and objectives relating to customer use cases and solutions
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Support the Product Manager of this feature team by driving the development work for one of the teams products:
- Accept and evaluate enhancement requests
- Prioritize backlog and align features to release schedule
- Create stories in Jira
- Assign work to developers and testers according to skills / capacit
- Raise issues / risks to Product Manager / Dev Lead as they arise
- Create / manage CRQs in Service Now working with Release
- Manager to ensure compliance
- Oversee product releases
- Send release notes to stakeholders
