Electrical Lead Design Engineer Design Engineer - DC

Minimum qualification required is B.E. / B. Tech. in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering
The candidate should have 710 years of experience specifically in the design aspects of Solar PV Power Plants / Power Distribution Projects
The key responsibilities include timely delivery of engineering drawings & documents ensuring alignment with project schedule and reviewing drawings by design engineers & draughts persons
The job requires checking of design & sizing calculations of engineering electrical equipment and obtaining approvals from the client
The candidate should be capable of multitasking and delivering multiple things on time
The candidate will be responsible for estimating and planning manhour requirements reviewing BOQ and submitting it to the contracts team and providing technical clarifications
The job involves coordinating with multiple disciplines for ensuring interdepartmental checks and providing support & clarifications to the Site Execution team
The candidate will be required to inspect equipment from the finalized vendor after submission of validation document and clarify issues related to the design & requirements of the client to the Site Execution Team
The job involves collecting inputs for project details from the client & Project Engineering Manager coordinating with Operations team and informing Design specifications for obtaining approval
The candidate will be required to check deliverables such as Cable Routing Layout Cable Tray Layout Earthing Layout & Lightning Protection Layout
The candidate should provide support to Electrical AC Civil/Structural for reviewing Vendor drawings and submit requirement of manhours for undertaking & reviewing design & drawings of the project
The candidate should possess an overall knowledge of equipment layouts and necessary calculations and have detailed knowledge of Solar PV Power Plants
The candidate should understand engineering activities covering Generation Estimate Overall plant Layout DC SLD Solar Module selection Inverter Sizing SMB Earthing Layouts Cable Sizing Calculations of Solar PV Power Plants
The candidate should have knowledge on National and International Codes and Standards understand and interpret the contractual technical requirements and facilitate the Project Teams as and when required
The candidate should also have an overall understanding of the interdisciplinary (Civil & Structural Mechanical and Instrumentation) design aspects of electrical equipment.
