Job Description: Senior Buyer
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to procure quality materials at competitive prices
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure optimal terms
- Analyze market trends and maintain knowledge of industry best practices
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and requirements
- Monitor inventory levels and track purchases to ensure timely delivery
- Assess supplier performance and take corrective actions as needed
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management or related field
- Proven experience as a buyer or purchasing manager
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and purchasing software
Desired Experience:
- 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience in the manufacturing industry
- Knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices
