Job Description

Description of Project

The Minnesota Department of Information Technology Services (MNIT) partnering with the Department of Corrections (DOC) is seeking a Database Administrator (DBA) who will be a member to the Infrastructure Team will need to work closely with the Server System Engineers and collaborate with other MNIT DOC and Enterprise teams.

The resource will help migrate to new versions of SQL and ensure the availability and optimization of the current MSSQLdatabases. The resource may occasionally work with other database platforms such as Oracle. This position will need to have experience in ETL processes and have knowledge of Azure SQL Database and Managed Instances. The work is expected to be done in a hybrid manner. The onsite work location is at 1450 Energy Park Drive St. Paul MN 55108.

Interviews will be conducted via Microsoft Teams.

Project Schedule

  • Anticipated Project Start Date: July 8 2024
  • Anticipated End Date: July 7 2025

The State retains the option to extend the work order in increments determined by the State.
