Malander is seeking a dynamic and newly qualified Chartered Accountant to fill the role of an Accountant for a maternity cover contract period. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a range of accounting functions ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate would be required to start immediately.
Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of accounting functions during the maternity leave period;
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting;
Prepare financial statements and budgets;
Perform monthend and yearend closing activities;
Assist with financial analysis and forecasting;
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Essential Qualifications:
Newly Qualified CA(SA);
Eligible to register as a CA(SA);
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance;
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel;
Strong attention to detail and accuracy;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Desired Experience:
Maximum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience;
