Job Description
Malander is seeking a dynamic and newly qualified Chartered Accountant to fill the role of an Accountant for a maternity cover contract period. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a range of accounting functions ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate would be required to start immediately.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of accounting functions during the maternity leave period;
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting;
- Prepare financial statements and budgets;
- Perform monthend and yearend closing activities;
- Assist with financial analysis and forecasting;
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Newly Qualified CA(SA);
- Eligible to register as a CA(SA);
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance;
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel;
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Maximum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience;
- Experience in financial reporting and analysis;
- Experience with budgeting and forecasting.
