JOB TITLE: Struct & Payload Design Engr 4 Aerospace

LOCATION: Long Beach CA

PAY RATE: $83.00 per hour

Details:

• 12month contract with opportunities for extension

• This position is expected to be 100% onsite.

Summary:

• Work statement is a nonmanagerial role nonleadership role.
  

• Regular and predictable attendance is required.

• In this role you will have the opportunity to work on cuttingedge projects related to new airplane development contributing to the design and development of primary aircraft structures.

• Develop integrate and document structural and component level requirements to establish product design.

• Utilize 3D Computer Aided Design tools and/or other design methods to develop maintain and modify detail design and assemblies.

• Provide product definition technical guidance and collaborate with crossfunctional teams including stress engineers manufacturing engineers and suppliers to ensure seamless integration of structural components throughout the product lifecycle.

• Participate in design reviews and provide technical expertise and recommendations to optimize designs and resolve any issues or challenges.

• Work under minimum supervision demonstrating selfmotivation and the ability to manage tasks independently.

• Stay updated with emerging technologies and investigate their potential to develop concepts for future product designs that meet projected requirements.

Required Skills:

• Bachelors of Science or higher from an accredited course of study.

• 5 years of experience in aircraft structure materials and properties design criteria and release processes including aircraft primary structure design.

• 5 years of experience with engineering tools such as CATIA (required) ENOVIA (required) and PDM

Desired Skills:

• 3 years of experience with 7Series Aircraft Primary Structures is desired.

• Engineering is preferred.

• Strong written verbal communications and presentation skills.
