Job Description

  • Garden Maintenance:

    • Maintain gardens and landscaped areas by planting trimming watering and weeding.
    • Ensure the health and aesthetic quality of plants trees shrubs and lawns.
  • Plant Care:

    • Identify and treat plant diseases pests and other issues.
    • Apply fertilizers herbicides and pesticides as needed.
    • Perform soil conditioning and aeration to promote healthy growth.
  • Landscaping:

    • Design and implement garden layouts and landscapes.
    • Install features such as walkways patios water features and irrigation systems.
    • Construct and maintain garden structures including fences walls and trellises.
  • Seasonal Tasks:

    • Prepare gardens for different seasons including planting seasonal flowers and vegetables.
    • Perform seasonal tasks like leaf raking snow removal and winterizing plants and irrigation systems.
  • Tool and Equipment Maintenance:

    • Operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment such as lawnmowers trimmers and leaf blowers.
    • Ensure all tools are kept in good working order and stored properly.
  • Customer Service:

    • Communicate with clients to understand their gardening needs and preferences.
    • Provide advice on plant selection garden design and maintenance.
    • Address client questions concerns and feedback in a professional manner.
  • Health and Safety Compliance:

    • Follow all health and safety regulations including the safe use of chemicals and equipment.
