We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Public Law / Immigration Solicitor with 1 3 years PQE to join our clients team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in advising and representing clients in a range of public law and immigration matters. As a key member of our legal team you will have the opportunity to work on challenging cases contribute to the growth of our practice and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our clients. Legal Aid background beneficial.
- Provide legal advice and representation to clients in public law and immigration cases ensuring the highest standards of professionalism and ethical conduct.
- Manage a caseload of public law and immigration matters including asylum human rights judicial review deportation and other related issues.
- Conduct legal research and stay abreast of changes in immigration and public law to provide uptodate and accurate advice to clients.
- Draft legal documents including statements of case affidavits and submissions to government bodies and courts.
- Represent clients at hearings tribunals and court proceedings advocating effectively on their behalf.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships providing excellent client care throughout the legal process.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the development and growth of the public law and immigration practice within the firm.
- Stay informed about relevant legislation policies and case law developments to ensure the highest level of expertise in the field.
Requirements
- 13 years PQE
- Experience in Public Law/ Immigration
- Excellent knowledge of immigration and public law including relevant legislation policies and procedures.
- Strong research analytical and drafting skills.
- Effective advocacy and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Exceptional client communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to maintaining the highest ethical and professional standards.
1-3 years PQE Experience in Public Law/ Immigration Excellent knowledge of immigration and public law, including relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
