Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Production In-charge (Asst. Manager) for Aluminum, Kitchen, Joinery sector within a well-established manufacturing firm based in the Kingdom of Bahrain. This is a multi-skilled flexible role where the candidate will mainly be factory - office based but may be required for site visits when there is a need.

Reports to: Head of the Department / CEO

Responsibilities:

A) Factory

  • Manage the daily workload of the workshop operatives in order that delivery and installation dates and practical completion is achieved
  • Ensure timely delivery of products by managing production schedules and coordinating with different team for timely shipment.
  • Organize subcontracted manufactured items such as metal, stone, glass and accessories
  • Order materials for each project and ensure consumable stock levels are in good order in a cost-efficient manner
  • Liaise with the design team regarding manufacturing techniques and best practice
  • Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are met and identify areas for improvement.
  • Daily/weekly/ monthly reports on related matters to the management
  • Manage and coordinate with different departments within the factory, including production, cutting, quality assurance, and maintenance, to ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensure all activities are compliant with HSE regulation
  • Machine and tools and maintenance
  • Coordinating deliveries and collections to and from sites (tools and equipment)
  • Monitoring maintenance of inhouse vehicles are in good condition
  • Organization of samples for client sign off
  • Provide guidance and training to staff to ensure their performance meets the company's standards.
  • Regular and strong maintenance of very well work environment and strict safety measures
  • Collaborate with other senior managers to develop strategies to improve productivity, reduce costs, and increase efficiency

B) Site Installation

.

Liaise with Client’s Site Managers on a daily basis regarding site activity and site requirements

.

Regular site visits to ascertain access, working conditions, deliveries/collections

.

Attend client programmer meetings and site meetings where necessary

.

Manage site installers’ activities, toolbox talks, discipline, productivity, in a cost-effective manner and train supervising team to follow the protocol and standard execution procedure

.

Ensure all activities are compliant with site health and safety regulations

.

Organize furniture and tool deliveries, report missing/damaged items

.

All major communications between Client/Consultant

Key Skills Required

.

Complete understanding of fabrication and installation

.

Good command of spoken English/Hindi Language

.

Fully competent in bespoke production Installation and manufacturing

.

Computer literate – MS office & Outlook, Proficient in MS Excel

.

Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings

.

Eager to adapt latest technologies to improve the productivity

.

Excellent presentation skills

.

Managing teams of site execution, workshop and subcontracted staff- overall more than of 120

Qualifications Required

.

3 Year Diploma / Bachelors degree in any Engineering sector

.

At least 10 years experience (5+ years in similar role)

.

GCC experience is an advantage

Salary 650 to 750 BHD per month
