Job Description:
- Participate in all financial accounting and reporting operations.
- Prepare financial statements and other required reporting packages.
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
- Resolve technical accounting issues for compliance.
- Support monthend quarterend and yearend closing processes.
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with local and state government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field; a professional accounting qualification (CPA CMA ACCA) is preferred.
- Minimum of 4 7 yearsof experience in accounting with at least 2 years within the oil and gas industry.
- Proven leadership experience minimum 1 2 years.
- International exposure preferably in Africa/ Mozambique is a plus.
- Willing to travel.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Solid and strong accounting and reporting skills.
- Must have exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problemsolving and time management skills and analytical abilities.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Able to meet tight deadlines and due dates
- Commercial or budgeting background is a plus.
- M&A experience is a plus.
- Business Development expertise is a plus.
Working Conditions:
- Working Hours: 8 AM 4 PM (Sunday to Friday).
- Working Model: Onsite.
- Job Location: Mozambique.
