SUMMARY
Our client is looking to hire a suitable candidate to fill this position.
The ideal candidate will be required to build and grow the deposit portfolio of the company by selling product/services of the company to retail and HNI customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Grow the investment portfolio in line with the company s strategy.
Identify develop and cultivate relationships with clients within the retail and HNI segment.
Prepare sales pitches presentations and other documents required for client s engagements.
Act as liaison between the company and existing/prospective clients.
Monitor industry trends and obtain necessary intelligence to be used for product development.
Proactively manage client s relationships.
Drive engagements and close sales of deposit products with retail and HNI clients.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 3 years postNYSC experience in financial institution with primary focus on deposit mobilization.
Minimum of a B.Sc. preferably in any field of study.
High achiever with proven record of ability to grow retail deposits and client base at minimal cost of funds.
Broad knowledge of treasury products money market instruments and client management.
Broad knowledge of retail and MSME deposit segments.
Business savvy including a proven understanding of market segmentation and ability to identify opportunities.
Strong negotiating counseling and problem solving skills.
Good knowledge of CBN policies on Know Your Customer and AML/CFT.
Maturity and tact including the ability to relate with different levels of authority both internally and externally.
Able to work well independently and in a team.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Energetic and sound decisionmaking skills.
