The role
The candidates for this position will have experience in Security Operations.
The ideal candidates can analyze details and have a genuine interest and passion for cyber security the technologies they use and a keen interest in IT.
They will also be joining an agile international and innovative technical team that continuously keeps the platforms up to date with stateoftheart technology and builds industryleading systems across the cloud (AWS Azure).
Responsibilities
- Autonomous management of security incidents within the Blue Team or Security Operations.
- Development of Python scripts to automate security operations.
- Practical experience in managing security operations on the AWS cloud.
- Creation and automation of incident response playbooks on SOAR platforms.
- Manage monitor and respond to email and endpoint security warnings
- Investigate security alerts and provide incident response.
- Play an active role in security incident handling and digital forensics activities.
- Monitor and investigate for attacks intrusions and unusual unauthorized or illegal activity.
- Monitor and investigate Data Loss warnings.
- Keep up to date with the latest security and technology.
- Research/evaluate emerging cyber security threats and ways to manage them.
- Test and evaluate security products.
- Liaise with stakeholders concerning cyber security issues and provide future recommendations.
About you
- Experience in the Blue Team and/or Security Operations.
- Scripting skills in Python.
- Knowledge of security operations on the AWS cloud.
- Incident management and response coordination capabilities.
- Experience in analyzing data from SIEM TIP or similar systems.
- Good English language skills
- Bachelor Master of Science or PhD in Computer Science Engineering or a related technical discipline. Relevant/important professional experience will be considered in place of academic achievements.
