Job Description

Fitness Instructor

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organized, motivated, and experienced Fitness Instructor who's capable of delivering innovative exercise routines tailored to guests' individual needs and goals, as well as providing support in developing effective diet plans and lifestyle changes.

What You Will Be Doing

• The Fitness Instructor is responsible for the programming of the fitness and wellness programs.
• This is a service-based role to deliver exceptional fitness and wellness engagement to members and guests in line with Sofitel's wellness concept.
• You will ensure a top-level offer in fitness and wellness and guide guests to reach their goals through wellness programming and personal training.
• You will also support in maintaining general housekeeping across all public areas including the wellness areas &, changing rooms..
• Show the fullest cooperation and respect within the team and other departments.
• One should be creative and confident and be prepared to step outside of the confines of comfort
• Other duties as assigned.
  

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

• Previous experience in a similar role in a luxury environment desirable
• Additional qualifications, eg Yoga, Boxcerise etc, would be an asset
• Experience in instructing and leading exercise in an adult fitness setting, using proper form and spotting techniques
• Experience in administering PAR-Q, health risk and history, wellness assessments, and client consultations would be an asset
• Capable and dedicated to delivering high levels of guest care
• A smart, polished, and professional appearance
• A hands-on professional passionate and inspired by all things fitness and wellness related
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
