KONE Middle East, Turkey & Africa (KMTA) is embarking upon an exciting growth phase through direct presence across 7 regions and to complement our growth plans and drive our sustainable success with customer strategy, New Building Solutions (NBS) & Modernization is a strategic priority for our Business. As a part of this effort, we are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Sales Engineer with a strong customer-focused mindset to be based in our Bahrain office and report directly to the Head of Sales for New Building Solutions.

In this role, you will lead and develop mutually beneficial relationships between KONE and customers that are strategic or nationally/locally important. You will proactively identify solutions and develop processes that add value to our customers. The Sales Engineer's role is to manage opportunities from current and new customers and close deals in a way that meets customer needs and maximizes KONE’s order book and profitability.

A service mindset is an outlook that focuses on creating customer trust, value, and loyalty and hence we are looking for somebody with a proven track record of being a go-getter who understands how to partner and collaborate with the business. We need someone who has the ability to influence, is result-driven, and has strong commercial acumen skills.

Are you the one?

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical or Industrial)
  • Minimum 5 years experience in one of the following: Complex Sales Process Management / Business Development / Key Account Management
  • Highly motivated, goal-oriented, diligent, organized self-starter with an orientation towards a high level of customer service
  • Ability to interpret and analyze customer needs
  • Passion for sales, with a proven track record in handling Strategic Key Accounts and a strong customer focus
  • Excellent English communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Arabic language skill is an added advantage.
  • GCC experience is preferred.
