SOCIAL MEDIA TEAM LEAD

Our client is a licensed distribution firm that specializes in the theatrical distribution of independent and commercial filmed content. Due to expansion they are in need of a Social Media Team Lead.

LOCATION: Lagos

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.

Lead and manage the social media team providing guidance mentorship and performance feedback.

Create curate and manage highquality engaging content across all social media platforms (e.g. Facebook Instagram TikTok Twitter YouTube and LinkedIn).

Monitor social media channels for trends insights and opportunities to engage with our audience.

Collaborate with the marketing PR and creative teams to align social media activities with overall marketing campaigns and initiatives.

Analyze social media metrics and generate reports to assess performance and inform future strategies.

Manage social media advertising campaigns including budget allocation targeting and performance optimization.

Engage with our online community responding to comments messages and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

Stay up to date with the latest social media trends tools and best practices.

Plan and execute social media events live streams and collaborations with influencers and partners.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor s Degree/Higher National Diploma in Marketing Communications or a related field.

3year proven experience in social media management and team lead roles.

Professional qualifications certifications and memberships are an added advantage.

Proficient in the use of Google Workspace.

Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g. Hootsuite Sprout Social) graphic design software (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite) and video editing software

Ability to analyse data and translate insights into actionable strategies.

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.

Experience with influencer marketing and collaboration.

Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Excellent time management and organization skills; ability to work with minimal or zero supervision.
