Java Developer with Scala

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Java Developer with proficiency in Scala to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development with complementary experience in Scala. You will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining highperformance applications that meet the needs of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design develop and maintain applications using Java and Scala.
• Implement and optimize application code to ensure high performance and scalability.
• Integrate various systems and ensure seamless data flow and communication between them.
• Work closely with other developers architects and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Write clean maintainable and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
• Identify and resolve technical issues related to application performance and functionality.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for applications and processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
• 6 years of experience in Java development with complementary experience in Scala.
• Familiarity with functional programming concepts.
• Experience with frameworks and libraries commonly used in Scala development (e.g. Akka Play Framework).
• Understanding of objectoriented programming and design patterns.
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure Google Cloud) is a plus.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
