Job Description: Network Architect (Onsite)

Additional Information: Candidates must be able to provide identification for interviews. The candidate interviewed must be the same individual assigned to work with the client.

Musthave skills: 5 years network architecture exp; CCNP Routing/Switching CCNP Security or CISM/CISSP/CISA; Cyber Security Frameworks (NIST CIS ISO/IEC 27001 and 27002); Routing (BGP EIGRP OSPF RIP VRRP GLBP HSRP VXLAN BGPEPVN); Vulnerability Scanning; Auditing / PCI compliance.

Requirements:

• Availability to work 100% onsite at the Clients site in Boca Raton FL (mandatory)
• CCNP Routing/Switching CCNP Security or CISM/CISSP/CISA certification
• Proficiency in network protocols (Ethernet TCP/IP SNMP VLAN Trunking)
• Proficient in routing protocols (BGP EIGRP OSPF RIP VRRP GLBP HSRP VXLAN BGPEPVN)
• Experience with network and LAN technologies (STP ARP) Cisco (IOS NXOS) Ruckus (FOS) Linux
• Experience in QoS and policybased routing with Cisco and Ruckus equipment
• Experience in IPSEC VPN IDS IPS Web Filtering Big IP Load Balancers Encryption Advanced Threat Protection techniques
• Experience in vulnerability scanning in a 24hour production environment
• Proficiency in Network Performance Management systems including network & application traffic capture probes and operational tools such as Wireshark and SolarWinds
• Familiarity with Cyber Security Frameworks (NIST CIS ISO/IEC 27001 and 27002)
• Understanding of Cyber Security Domains: Assets management Controls Management Configuration/Change Management Vulnerability management Incident Management Service Continuity Risk Management External Dependency Training and Awareness Situational Awareness
• Bachelor of Science degree and 5 years of networking experience

Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing specific Departmental goals standards and objectives supporting the strategic plan and vision
• Analyze and manage physical and logical resources of existing network capacity incorporating forecasts into network build plans
• Manage plan and optimize network devices within designated planning areas
• Develop and implement planning solutions to improve customer service
• Develop initiatives quantify impact and provide input on network architectural plans & budgets
• Formulate budget inputs and projections according to the business plan
• Perform additional tasks as requested
