DQ Data Architect Data Quality AVP

Role: DQ Data Architect AVP level (Data Quality)
Location: Hybrid London 2 days a week onsite/remote
Start: ASAP
Duration: 6 months (inside IR35/Umbrella Company)

THE ROLE

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic largescale operation in the banking industry.

The role is to support the Data Architect lead specifically focused on the project and the data transformation to support the evolution of the AML control environment

Your daytoday activities will include:

• Develops data architecture roadmaps that respond to business direction emerging industry trends and new technology opportunities
  
• Develop and maintain the change control process of Data Architecture related data in alignment with the Data Management and Records Standards.
  
• Provide architectural input to the BU/Function Data Management Councils.
  
• Input to the annual review of the Data Architecture Capabilities
  
• Assist in the maintenance of Data Architecture patterns in the pattern library in order to support consistent storage consumption and distribution of data.
  
• Develops product architectures and roadmaps including cloud that drive evolution of applications over time
  
• Understands the requirements and perspectives of stakeholders and integrates into team s understanding of complex situations
  
• Adapts to changing requirements reprioritising and changing course as necessary
  

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

• A broad knowledge of technologies (including infrastructure and data technologies) that are used by financial service providers.
  
• The ability to exhibit deep technical understanding conveyed through crisp solution design walkthroughs.
  
• Knowledge of cloud technology and at least one or more technologies used by the bank.
  
• Experience in system integration projects / programmes.
  
• Experience of working with stakeholders to influence their thinking about what is possible through technology innovation.
  
• A neversaydie attitude to resolving complex business problems through groundbreaking technical solutions. She/he will need to be able to think abstractly when required but also to drill into the detail and draw on significant experience of delivery in the line.
