We are searching for a solutionfocused desktop support technician to provide our employees with handson systematic support. The desktop support technician should receive ITrelated concerns and then proceed to diagnose and solve these issues. You should also ensure the regular maintenance of our IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Responding to client support requests.
- Contacting clients to find out the nature of the problem.
- Traveling to the client s locations.
- Troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Installing and maintaining hardware and computer peripherals.
- Installing and upgrading operating systems and computer software.
- Troubleshooting networking and connection issues.
- Advising on software or hardware upgrades.
- Providing basic training on computer operation and management.
- Completing job reports and ordering supplies.
Requirements
- Proven work experience as Desktop Support Engineer or Support Technician.
- CompTIA A MCP MCSE OEM are desirable certifications
- Knowledge of popular operating systems software applications and remote connection systems: Windows Mac Office 365 MS Outlook UW etc.
- Good general understanding of IT principles: Networks Hardware and Domains
- Good experience of supporting devices such as printers and Meeting Room equipment
- Familiarity with virtual MDM and VPN environments
- Good written and verbal communication skills (English and Dutch).
