Job Description

Location: Kampala

Position Type: FullTime

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced IB Physics Teacher to join our secondary education team. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelors degree in Education and have significant experience teaching IB or Cambridge Physics. Additional experience with Extended Essay coordination is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach IB Physics to secondary school students ensuring alignment with IB standards.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater for diverse learning styles.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress providing constructive feedback.
  • Coordinate and support students with their Extended Essays if applicable.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.


Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Education.
  • Proven experience teaching secondary Physics within the IB or Cambridge framework.
  • Experience in Extended Essay coordination is a plus.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
