Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in accounting with a focus on general ledger management.
- Experience working in a large multilocation organization is highly desirable.

About the Role
The Senior General Ledger Accountant will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information supporting the overall financial health of our organization.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee general ledger accounts ensuring the preparation of accurate financial statements.
- Ensure the monthly quarterly and yearend close processes are completed accurately and on time.
- Review and verify the accuracy of journal entries.
- Prepare and examine financial statements ensuring adherence to GAAP and internal policies.
- Assist in creating budgets forecasts and financial projections.
- Perform variance analysis to identify and explain financial discrepancies.
- Conduct account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of records.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Prepare necessary documentation and reports for audit purposes.
- Work with crossfunctional teams to support financial goals.
- Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in fullcycle accounting with a focus on general ledger management.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus.
