Head of Data Analytics AI

Together with our partner one of the most innovative companies in the Industry we are looking for a Head of Data Analytics & AI. You work from wherever you call home and in Dublin.

Leverages cuttingedge technologies to provide its clients with automated and intelligent services you and your sixperson team will create nextgen tech solutions that will revolutionise the industry!

Tasks

• You define and implement a companywide data & AI strategy with the objective of creating a strong IP base to the market and transform the organization to a more data focused one
• You are managing a team of data scientists data engineers and AI specialists in the central Data & AI department which currently has six specialists and is set to be further expanded
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the AI team
• You drive the use of ML and AI by building organizational capabilities and best practices across the organisation
• You understand the key drivers of the business and initiate or support strategic projects from a data and technology perspective
• You define and implement all processes around data governance and data quality
• Youre in charge of key datarelated activities (data engineering data analytics data science) and the respective resources
• You will team up with a strong and growing IT team you will lead inspire and develop and work closely with worldclass actuaries
• Stay uptodate with the latest developments in AI and machine learning and identify potential applications of new technologies to the companys business

Requirements

• You have at least 3 years of experience in leading a data team including a range of functions from Data Analysts to Engineers and Scientists
• You have at least 5 years of handson experience in data science machine learning or AI preferably with the delivery of endtoend data solutions
• You have proven ability to translate business requirements into technological innovation and solutions and dont rely on given structures and processes but are able to build your own
• You have extensive knowledge of current data AI/ML and analytics techniques and their applications
• You have a deep understanding of key stakeholder requirements and the ability to translate these into an actionable plan for Data Scientists Data Engineers or Data Analysts
• You have strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and develop new business opportunities
