About alcemy

alcemy was founded to reduce the massive CO2 footprint of the cement and concrete industry. Concrete is humanitys second most used material by volume and its production is responsible for around 9% of global CO2 emissions.

We are changing this!

Our intelligent production control software makes it possible to produce concrete and cement with the precision needed for the sustainable products of the future. Our software is used 24/7 in cement and concrete plants to optimize production and significantly reduce CO2 emissions already today using machine learning and IOT sensors.

Your Responsibilities

Global Technical Marketing (70% of time):

  • Technical Expertise: You will provide technical advice and support global sales activities and you will prepare technical case studies with convincing stories and KPIs and track and utilize customer KPIs in sales and marketing.
  • Push alcemys visibility: You will promote alcemys products for cement and concrete through presentations written publications and meetings. Furthermore you will drive engagement with industry associations and key conferences creating storylines and content and managing alcemy speakers. You will expand our presence in concrete and cement associations (e.g. VDZ PCA VDB) and launch events in key regions to establish market leadership.
  • Client Champion Positioning: You will highlight client success through video storytelling flyers and brochures.
  • Digital Marketing: You will develop (digital) marketing materials including web based media organize and manage webinars scheduling meetings and multilanguage capabilities and produce the quarterly newsletter.
  • Market Trends: You will stay updated on market trends informing executives and aligning storytelling.

Global PR (30% of time):

  • Press Positioning: You will position alcemy in global and local industry press with unique content and enhance alcemys image in the Sustainable Concrete Leaders Network.
  • Partner and Client Leverage: You will drive powerful copublications with clients and partners making use of their network and our unique role in the industry.
  • Brand Establishment and Investor Relations: You will establish alcemy as a leading brand in decarbonization for employees investors and the public.

Requirements

Your Profile

  • Experience in the Cement and Concrete Industry: You have a background in cement and concrete ideally with knowledge in concrete technology marketing and PR.
  • Education and Professional Experience: You possess over 2 years of professional experience in the field of cement and concrete.
  • Credibility in the Professional World: You have credibility in the industry know the language of cement and concrete practice and can present yourself and the company in the best possible way.
  • Technical Background: An engineering background is preferred enabling you to understand and communicate technical aspects effectively.
  • Enthusiastic and Convincing: You are enthusiastic about representing alcemy and can inspire and convince stakeholders.
  • High Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills both written and verbal in English and German. You can articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • FactBased Communication: You excel in factbased communication ensuring that all interactions and content are grounded in solid data and evidence.
  • Travel Readiness: You have the willingness to travel as needed for conferences events and client engagements.

After 1 month you will

  • Go through our onboarding and get to know all team members.
  • Learn all about our existing products for cement and concrete.
  • You will get to know our internal processes our strategy and our philosophy.
  • You support the writing of press releases and technical articles in the field of cement and concrete.

After 3 months you will

  • You will increasingly become the point of contact for journalists and customers when it comes to external presentation and communicating technical expertise.
  • You are a valued internal contact person for our customers for alcemy products the presentation of added value and case studies.

After 6 months you will

  • You are the ambassador of the alcemy product mission and vision for our customers.
  • You can support our customers in realizing added value. To do this you develop test series and agree on the most important metrics for evaluating success.
  • You give interviews prepare productspecific presentations and deliver them confidently at webinars or events.
  • You are the spokesperson of alcemy and work together in the PR & Marketing team to present alcemys mission and our customers in the best possible way as champions in decarbonization and quality control.
