Airport Planning and Design Engineer

Profile

• Degree in Aeronautical Engineering;
• Postgraduate in Airport Infrastructure Management (valuable);
• Minimum experience of 8 years in the development of Airport Planning and Design (Airside), including airfield geometry, pavements, lighting, signage and navigational aids;
• Solid knowledge of International Aviation standards, namely, ICAO, FAA and EASA;
• Knowledge of survey methods for pavements and geological-geotechnical studies;
• Knowledge of methodologies for evaluating of existing pavements conditions, identifying and classifying pathologies and defining rehabilitation solutions;
• Experience in pavement design software (FAARFIELD or equivalent), aircraft simulation software (AVIPLAN or equivalent) and CAD tools;
• Problem solving ability;
