- Continuous Learning: Keen interest in staying updated on Oracle EBusiness Suite and related technologies.
- Oracle EBusiness Suite Expertise: Extensive experience with Oracle eBusiness Suite modules interfaces and technologies specifically in AR CE GL and iExpense (preferably release 12.2.). Additional preferred modules include PA GMS and FA.
- SQL/PLSQL Proficiency: Indepth knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL including the ability to develop SQL queries and PL/SQL packages.
- Development Skills: Experience with Oracle Application Framework (OAF) developing personalizations HTML pages and Java class extensions within Oracle eBusiness Suite.
- Workflow and Approvals Management: Experience with Oracle Workflow Builder and/or Approvals Management (AME).
- Reporting Tools: Proficiency with BI Publisher Oracle Report Builder and/or OBIEE.
- Budget Systems: Experience in working with Budget systems performing administration maintenance interface development and enduser support.
- Bank Interface Maintenance: Experience in maintaining external bank interfaces.
Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering: Gather and evaluate business requirements determining approaches to meet these requirements using Oracle capabilities and customizations.
- Recommendations and Estimates: Develop recommendations business cases and estimates for new functionalities and changes to enhance business processes and application performance.
- Development and Implementation: Develop test and implement new Oracle capabilities customizations and configurations.
- Problem Resolution: Investigate issues related to Oracle eBusiness Suite functionality data and interfaces; determine and implement resolutions.
- Customer Collaboration: Work with business customers to identify potential improvements alternatives or new capabilities beneficial to the organization.
- Documentation and Assessment: Document and estimate specific requests for new capabilities helping to assess their value to the organization.
- Configuration Documentation: Document Oracle Business Suite configurations support information and customizations according to Metro IT standard application methodology.
- Testing Coordination: Collaborate with Metro infrastructure database and application development teams to ensure proper unit system user acceptance and performance testing.
- User Support and Training: Assist with the orientation and training of Oracle endusers/customers as appropriate.
- Mentorship: Mentor other IT team members to help them grow their capabilities.
