    Purpose of the Position

    The Executive Director will be instrumental in driving Victors Vision toward its mission of supporting students living in poverty in Chulucanas. Will lead the organizations growth and strategy ensuring alignment with the Board of Directors and staff. Additionally the Executive Director will oversee operations management program excellence fundraising and communication efforts to maximize social impact and achieve organizational goals. This role presents an opportunity to contribute directly to the empowerment and development of the local community while fostering innovation and driving the future of the organization.


    Key Responsibilities

      Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and execute the organizations strategic plan ensuring alignment with its mission vision and values. Identify opportunities for growth and innovation including new program development market expansion and partnerships. Monitor industry trends and changes in the socioeconomic landscape to inform strategic decisionmaking. Evaluate the effectiveness of current programs and initiatives and make adjustments as needed to achieve organizational goals.
      Leadership and Team Management: Provide strong leadership and direction to staff volunteers and stakeholders fostering a culture of collaboration innovation and accountability. Empower and support team members in their roles promoting professional development and growth opportunities. Foster a positive work environment that values diversity equity and inclusion.
      Lead by example demonstrating integrity transparency and a commitment to the organizations mission and values.
      Financial Management and Fundraising: Oversee the organizations financial health including budgeting forecasting and financial reporting. Develop and implement fundraising strategies to secure financial support from donors grantors and partners. Cultivate relationships with individual and institutional donors leveraging opportunities for partnership and collaboration. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
      Program Development and Evaluation: Lead the development implementation and evaluation of programs and initiatives that support the organizations mission and objectives. Monitor program outcomes and impact using data and metrics to inform decisionmaking and drive continuous improvement. Ensure programs are responsive to the needs of the community and aligned with best practices in the field. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for program expansion and enhancement.
      Stakeholder Engagement and Partnerships: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including community members government agencies and other organizations.
      Identify opportunities for collaboration and partnership that advance the organizations mission and goals. Represent the organization at meetings and events advocating for its interests and promoting its work.
      Communication and Advocacy: Develop and implement communication strategies to raise awareness of the organizations mission and impact. Serve as a spokesperson for the organization articulating its goals values and achievements to various audiences. Advocate for policies and initiatives that support the organizations mission and the communities it serves.
      Ensure clear and timely communication with stakeholders including donors volunteers and program participants.
      Governance and Board Relations: Work closely with the Board of Directors to develop and implement strategic priorities and initiatives. Provide regular updates to the Board on organizational performance financial health and program outcomes. Support the Board in fulfilling its governance responsibilities including recruitment orientation and training of new members. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between the Board and staff ensuring alignment and mutual support.
      Risk Management and Compliance: Identify and mitigate risks that may impact the organizations operations reputation or financial stability. Ensure compliance with relevant laws regulations and ethical standards. Implement policies and procedures to safeguard the organizations assets and minimize exposure to liability.
      Community Engagement and Impact: Engage with the local community to understand its needs priorities and aspirations. Develop programs and initiatives that respond to community needs and promote positive social change. Measure and communicate the organizations impact both qualitatively and quantitatively to stakeholders and the broader community.

    Requirements and competencies to work with us

    Education

      Bachelors degree in a relevant field such as Nonprofit Management Business Administration Social Sciences or a related area.

    Experience

      Minimum of 5 years of experience in nonprofit management leadership or a similar role with a proven track record of success in driving organizational growth and impact.
      Experience working in the education youth development or community development sector preferred.
      Demonstrated experience in strategic planning program development and financial management.
      Demonstrated fundraising experience including cultivating individual and corporate donors as well as writing and winning private or public grants.
      Experience working with diverse stakeholders including donors volunteers board members and community partners.
      Fluent in English and Spanish

        Proficiency in financial management budgeting and financial reporting.
        Demonstrated ability to develop and implement fundraising strategies to secure financial support from individual and institutional donors.
        Experience in grant writing donor cultivation and stewardship.
        Knowledge of relevant laws regulations and ethical standards related to nonprofit financial management and fundraising.

        Program Development and Evaluation Skills:
        Experience in designing implementing and evaluating programs and initiatives that address the needs of underserved populations.
        Ability to use data and metrics to measure program outcomes and impact and make datadriven decisions to improve program effectiveness.
        Familiarity with best practices in program development evaluation and quality improvement.
        Commitment to ensuring programs are responsive to the needs of the community and aligned with the organizations mission and values.

        Cultural Competence and Community Engagement:
        Demonstrated cultural competence and sensitivity with experience working effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and loweconomic communities. Ability to engage with and build relationships with the local community to understand its needs priorities and aspirations.
        Commitment to equity diversity and inclusion and to ensuring that the organizations programs and services are accessible and inclusive for all.

        Technology Skills:
        Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications.
        Familiarity with database management systems CRM software and other technology tools used in nonprofit management is a plus.
