Client focus – Deliver on our promise: • You will manage the delivery of key assignments and defined business areas, providing strategic direction and monitoring delivery aligned with overall vision and objectives. • You will be preparing contract documents, warranties, bonds and licenses to achieve formal execution by appropriate parties. • You will prepare costing associated with design changes, contract awards, construction activities and client charges, and present these to clients. You’ll be responsible for: • Support programme development in the production of early budgetary estimates. • Develop effective business relationships with Portfolio team members in supporting the attainment of team objectives. • Develop effective business relationships with stakeholders in ensuring adoption of functional Quantity Surveying best practice in the delivery of Portfolios. • Provide functional Quantity Surveying expertise and support to the wider programme delivery businesses. • Undertake reviews of contract adherence across programme delivery. • Undertake contract compliance audits. • Support the commercial function in the evaluation of, and negotiation of tenders, contract Changes and compensation events. • Provide support for development of preliminary, Initial and Main Gate Business Case submissions. • Provide senior management with appropriate reports to support decision making. • Act as contract specific Quantity Surveying functional expert in all aspects of Price validation and agreement, including dispute resolution.
