Job Description

Location: OnSite Las Vegas Nevada

Salary Range: $60000.00 $65000.00

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Finance or a related field required.
  • 3 years of experience in general ledger accounting preferably within the healthcare industry.
  • Experience working in a large multilocation organization is highly desirable.

About the Role

With 20 locations and a robust team of 15 G/L Accountants they are committed to delivering toptier healthcare services. The General Ledger Accountant will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information supporting the overall financial health of our organization.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger accounts ensuring all entries are accurate and complete.
  • Prepare and review journal entries adjust entries and handle account and cash reconciliations.
  • Ensure all financial transactions are recorded in compliance with GAAP and organizational policies.
  • With 20 locations they will need experience with consolidated accounting.
  • Participate in the monthend and yearend closing processes including preparing financial statements and supporting schedules.
  • Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate financial reports for management review.
  • Collaborate with team members to implement best practices and streamline workflows.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
